British Women's Chess Association Girls Championship: Yorkshire

Four girls from Sussex travelled up to Yorkshire for the British womens chess association's Girl's championships, and all four came back with a trophy!

Polly Lambert came 2nd in U12 and won best game prize.

Iona Rose came equal 1st in U11s.

Amy Hoare came 1st in U10s.

Cosima Keen came equal 1st= in U8s.

This was a fantastic set of results and shows how Girls' chess in Sussex is developing, particularly in our U11 team which has a large contingent of girls. All we need is an U9 girl to complete a clean sweep!
