Sussex Primary Cup

As the end of the school year approaches twelve teams from eleven schools made it all the way through to the final of the Sussex Primary Cup and congratulations to all these children for their great achievment. The final was kindly hosted by Holy Trinity in Cuckfield and I must take this opportunity to thank Mrs Steddon, Headmistress for her hospitality and Ruth Osborn for her hard work which made the final a successful event.

There were four teams playing in each of the three divisions and the full results are below. Competition was tough and some games, in all divisions, were still being battled out close to the end of their time However the winner of division three was our hosts Holy Trinity, division two Copthorne and of Division One, Dorset House.

All twelve teams proudly took a cup back to their school and medals were presented to each player, each child that made it to the final was a winner. Well done too, to all those teachers, parent helpers etc, whether you made it to the final or not, who work so hard to make this tournament possible. I look forward to seeing you all next year.
