Downs Grand Prix: 21st May 2005, Worthing

The final Grand Prix of the season took place in Worthing, with nearly 70 competitors attending. There were extremely tough competitions in both the U18 and U11 Majors, with players coming from Kent, Hertfordshire and Chepstow.

The U18 Major was eventually won by Joe Fraser on 5.5 points, ahead of Rhys Cumming and Akash Jain. The U18 Minor competition was won by James Draper, with Andrew Barnard in 2nd and Steven Taylor in 3rd.

In the U11 Major, Alex Galliano took the title on 6 points ahead of Oskar Schortz. Mathew Payne took 3rd place. In the Minor tournament, George Galliano also scored 6 points, taking the title ahead of Ansh Mehta and Charlie Keen. The prize for top U10 went to Christopher Khoo, U9 to Barnaby Paul, U8 to Shyam Mohan and the U7 prize was shared between Cosima Keen and Otto Pyper.

The tournament also saw the award of the Grand Prix prizes for the season. The overall Grand Prix winner was Joe Fraser on 22 points. The other prizes were awarded as follows:
