| Horsham Grand Prix: 29th January 2005 Over 60 players took part in the Horsham Grand Prix, including players from Surrey, Kent and event Wales! The U18 Major event, in particular was a closely fought competition, having attracted a number of out of county players. The competition was eventually won by the favourite, Joe Fraser on 5.5 points, with David Grant in 2nd place, and third place being shared by Anthony Gregory from Kent and Chris Linnett. In the Minor tournament, Adam Squibbs took the title ahead of Toby Brown and Carl Addy. The U11 Major title was won by Megan Owens from Wales on 5 points. 3 players tied on 4.5 points and were split on progressives, with Alex Galliano taking 2nd place, Matthew Payne 3rd and Alexander Schymyck 4th. In the Minor Tournament, Shyam Mohan took the title with a perfect 6 points, with Tom Fitzgerald on 4.5 just beating Ramm Mohan to 2nd place.
