Sussex County Girls Under 11 Team

 Inter - County girls competition in Basildon on Saturday 7th June 2003

The tournament sponsored by the Rotary Club was between Sussex, Kent, Essex A and Essex B each player played 3 games at a time rate of 40 minutes per player per game.

U11 Girls Basildon Jun 2003In this well organised Essex tournament the Sussex Girls fought hard against a Kent and two Essex teams. All the team concentrated hard and played with determination with Polly 3/3, Elizabeth 2/3 and Danielle 2/3 scoring particularly well while Sarah, Anna and Rezwana found themselves up against some very good opposition. Angharad and Lotte on their debut soon got into the swing and I hope will play many more games for Sussex Girls. Special congratulations to Alice who came to collect her older sister but found herself playing in the final round and very nearly won her first game for Sussex!
