U11 Major:

The under 11 major section had its fair share of surprises, with some unexpected losses and draws for the main contenders. In the end three players ended on 4 out of 6, with James Asquith first, Joe Richardson second and Stephanie Barraclough third. The moral from this group is never give up until the last game has finished!

U11 Minor:

Hampshire junior Eugene Geidelberg won the under 11 minor section with 5 out of 6, closely pursued by one of the top Sussex under 9's, Andrew Tucker on the same score. The most notable performance however was from Katherine Rattle with 4½ out of 6 coming third, and managing to take a point off Eugene. With Hannah Adam fourth on 4, the two Sussex girls outshone some of the more experienced boys.
