Hastings Junior Congress - 8 Jan 2000

In a competition which is always graced with a good number of strong players from outside the county, it is pleasing to report that two of the three titles went to home grown talent. The hardest fought section was the under 18's, where Theo Penty was a clear winner with 5½ out of 6. In second place with 5/6 was another Sussex player Michael Hamilton, and in third, Essex Star Ezra Lutton.
