Challengers Section:

The larger challengers section was won outright by Katherine Rattle with an excellent 5½ out of 6. As with other Sussex tournaments this year, it was very pleasing to see some less experienced players shine in their own tournament without having to worry about meeting the established stars. Second equal were Briony Price from Seaford and Megan Wheatley from Hurstpierpoint both with 5/6, Briony taking second place on the sum of progressive scores.
