A small number of our events are provisional in terms of date or venue, and we are awaiting details of some external events. These have been placed in the calendar on a provisional basis based on last season, and are clearly marked as such. Updated information will be posted regularly over the next few weeks.
Entry forms are being prepared at the moment and will be posted here soon. To enter an event, just download the forms and post to the address on the form.
Membership of Sussex Junior Chess is optional, but at only £9 per family represents very good value; entitling families to priority mailings of events, plus discounted event entry, potentially saving £15 per child per season. Application form.
SJC believe that no-one should be denied the opportunity to participate in chess on the grounds of cost. The SJC Bursary fund has been established to assist families in need with expenses. We welcome enquiries which will be dealt with in strict confidence - please email us for details.
